Basic Function

 

  • A Fish Supply Salesperson will assist customers with their needs by answering questions, providing information, and giving correct product recommendations in regards to aquarium and pond fish.

 

Principal Duties

 

  • Assisting customers in finding what they are looking for and make recommendations as to what they need.
  • Acquiring a solid knowledge base of fish and pond supply products carried in the retail store through product training classes and self-exploration, to provide up-to-date and accurate product information to retail store patrons, as well as mail-order customers.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining an up-to-date and professional looking store by restocking, cleaning, and organizing shelves, as well as redesigning endcaps.

Basic Function

 

  • Sales Associate is responsible for the care of the animals housed in the Reptile Room, and for assisting customers with their needs by answering their questions, providing accurate advice, and packing up the livestock they wish to purchase.

 

Principal Duties

 

  • Assisting customers, both in the store and on the phone, with their questions and livestock questions and purchases.
  • Boxing and bagging livestock and feeder insects and rodents.
  • Caring for and maintaining optimum health conditions for the livestock in the Reptile Room by cleaning cages, medicating sick animals, and distributing food and water based on the schedule set by the Department Manager.
  • Acquiring a solid reptile and small animal knowledge base, through training classes and self-exploration, to assist customers with their questions.

Seeking a person who is self motivated and needs little or no supervision.  This position is currently part time, but could move to a full time position.  Hours are Monday through Friday starting at 7am

Principal Duties

 

  • Following the daily cleaning schedule set up by the department supervisor.
  • Completing tasks in order to maintain the neat and orderly appearance of the store facilities, displays, and offices. These tasks include sweeping, cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying trash.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized janitorial supply closet.
  • Identifying maintenance needs (i.e. plumbing, fixture/equipment repair, painting, etc.) and promptly reports the needs to the manager. Perform and/or assist as needed.
  • Making deliveries and pick-ups with the company vehicles.
  • Maintaining appearance and operation of the company vehicles when applicable.
